- Diagnose and fix any problems that caused the previous turbo to fail.
- Change engine oil and filter as specified by the vehicles manufacturers.
- Check and clean DPF and EGR.
- Replace oil feed line (Keep receipt for warranty).
- Remove all plastic plugs from turbo before installation.
- Use new gaskets when installing. DO NOT USE SILICONE!
- Prime turbo with new oil through oil inlet hole.
- Make sure all oil and coolant levels are where they need to be.
- Start car and let idle for 5-10 minutes.
- Check installation for any leaks.
- Once the turbo has been installed, perform a “Boost leak test” and check for any leaks.
- A boost leak can cause the turbo to over-speed causing damage over time.
- After 20 operating hours or 1000Km, check for any leaks.
